I know everyone has posted about movies and such, but what is everyone's thoughts on Opera and Theatre? Just wondering?

i really like operas and theaters. two years ago i played an opera with my school class from then (we performed the phantom of the opera)
i really enjoyed it and i also like to watch things like that. what i dont like are musicals...
